Lisbon tend to be more cold tolerant, however these trees do contain thorns and the fruit tends to have more seeds than the Eureka variety. Lisbon’s produce their main crop in winter and the fruit tends to grow on the inside of the tree where it is protected from wind.
Lisbon have denser foliage than Eureka and a more upright form. This variety is the most resistant to climatic extremes of heat and cold.
